If you meet any of these conditions and cancel within 7 days of your lease start date, you'll get a full refund!

  • Didn't get accepted into university (No Offer No Pay):

    • You must submit proof of non-acceptance by the school in the city where Y Suites is located (Melbourne, Sydney, or Canberra).

    • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your rejection letter. Include:

      • Your reservation number and Y Suites location (A'Beckett, Gibbons, Regent, or Moore) and

      • Proof of your rejection letter

  • Visa application denied (No Visa No Pay):

    • You must submit proof of rejection of your visa to study in Australia by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).

    • Contact us within 24 hours of receiving your visa denial notice. Include:

      • Your reservation number and Y Suites location (A'Beckett, Gibbons, Regent, or Moore) and

      • Proof of your DHA denial letter

  • Visa application pending:

    • Your visa application is still being processed by the DHA.

    • Contact us with:

      • Your reservation number and Y Suites location (A'Beckett, Gibbons, Regent, or Moore)

      • A screenshot showing your visa application status as "Pending" or "Processing" on the DHA website

Important Notes:

  • We need to verify all your documents before confirming your cancellation and refund.

  • Miss the deadline (7 days or 24 hours after receiving rejection/denial)? You will not be eligible for a full refund under this policy. Standard cancellation fees will apply.

  • This policy applies only to Y Suites locations in Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra.
