I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to live at Vivida during the two study periods of my master’s degree. It was a smart choice, mainly because it’s so close to the university—saving me both commuting time and cost, especially during busy periods. The location is excellent, with plenty of food options and stores nearby. Both Coles and Woolworths supermarkets are just a five-minute walk away. Safety is a top priority for international students, and I genuinely believe Vivida offers a safer environment compared to many other places. The residents are all students, and the property is managed by a professional agency, which adds to the sense of security. Most importantly, the staff are always willing to help with any issues that come up in daily life at the apartment. I’ve been very satisfied with everything—except for the air conditioner, which can be a bit noisy due to its older model. Overall, I think Vivida is one of the best choices for students, especially those studying at Swinburne.

Decent place with decent sized room right in front of tram 70,75 to the city. Close to glenferrie train station, Cole’s, Woolies and other restaurants near Swinburne. Staff also communicated promptly regarding issues and maintenance.

A great place for students to accommodation. The room is big. If you want a quiet place you stay at building B because building A is in front of the road so the sound of the car or tram might disturb you. 4 floors with basement, in the basement is where the laundry and where you throw away your trash at, if not you can use the laundry outside your choice. It has vending machine, sofa, pool table, study room and barbecue place outdoor is on the 1st floor. The tram 75 and 70 stop is right next to the building, or the tram 16 stop is close too. Furthermore it is a great place to live.

I have been living in Riversdale Unilodge for two years and I would say that Riverdale Unilodge is a nice place for students to live : + The room has a decent size and adequate equipment for living is well prepared. The light can be not bright enough so I recommend you to buy a table lamp for studying. I would also recommend you to have an electronic fan as the Melbourne weather, despite being cool most of the time, can be pretty hot otherwise. The room wall is pretty soundproof so feel free to turn on the music in your computer at maximum volume when you study. + If you are going to study in the Swinburne University then Unilodge Riversdale is a convenient place for you to live. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the university so I consider it to be a decent light exercise for your body. However, if you don't prefer to walk, there are trams accessible for you. Also, there is a nice Banh Mi shop for you to eat for lunch which I highly recommend. + One of my impression about the accommodation is its wildness. There are trees and plants around the accommodation which adds a nice touch of nature. Most noticeable is the natural landscape in between the two buildings of the accommodation. + The accommodation has two common rooms where residents can freely enter and communicate with other people. Both rooms are spacious and have with a comfortable sofa. One room is equipped with a big TV, a vending machine and a pool table for playing billiard ( Well, if you know how to play ) + The accommodation has a team of residential advisors who are trained to receive calls for support from residents anytime in the after-hours. Even if they can't solve your problem right away, be assured that your problem will be well informed to the Unilodge managers and you will be in contact in no time. The residential support service of Unilodge is the strongest strength of the accommodation I would say. Overall, if you are looking for a studio apartment to live in Hawthorn, I would highly recommend Riversdale Unilodge. Thank you for reading!

Student living on Riversdale is quite nice actually. The neighborhood is nice and the necessary stores such as the supermarket, Kmart, etc is relatively close. Even the post office is also close to this location. Above all the accommodation is nice and good for students who are finding a place to stay.
