Cancellation policy+

A) The Student can cancel a tenancy agreement without penalty provided a written notice has been provided at least 30 calendar days prior to the agreement start date.

(B) If cancellation is made less than 30 days before the tenancy agreement start date, the Student will be responsible for paying rent until a replacement tenant has been found. The rent paid in advance may be retained partially or in full.

(C) A penalty will not be charged in the case where cancellation of the agreement is due to failure to secure an Offer of Enrolment or Student Visa. Written notice must be given at least 14 days before the tenancy agreement start date and supported with written verification confirming decline of offer and/or visa. Administration fee of $100 is applicable.

D) Bookings less than 90 days cannot be cancelled and no refund will be given.

Payment terms+
  • (A) Bookings less than 13 weeks (<90 days): 2 weeks of rent are required upfront
    and $200 AUD as a bond for all room types except Studios. For Studios, the
    security bond will be $500.

  • (B) Bookings 13 weeks or greater (91 days +):
    - 2 weeks deposit is required upfront, this amount will go towards the first 2
    weeks of rent.
    - As per WA State Government Residential Tenancy Act, (referred to as RTA
    from hereon in) a 4-week bond is required to be paid to the Bond
    Administrator via DEFT portal prior to check in and may be fully or partially
    refunded 2 weeks after student check out & satisfactory room inspection.
