Link2 Student Living Cancellation Policy

To secure your booking at Link2, a non-refundable deposit equal to two weeks' rent plus a booking fee is required. This deposit covers your first two weeks of stay.

In addition to the deposit, you'll need to prepay the rent for your last four full weeks. If your total booking is shorter than six weeks, you'll pay the full amount upfront. This prepaid rent will be applied to the final 28 days of your stay. If you leave earlier than planned, it will cover the final three weeks and any early departure fee.

If you cancel less than 14 days before your arrival, a late cancellation fee of two weeks' rent, in addition to the non-refundable deposit, will be charged. This will be taken from your prepaid rent, and the remaining two weeks of prepaid rent will be refunded.

For cancellations made 15 to 28 days before arrival, a late cancellation fee of one week's rent, plus the non-refundable deposit, applies. This will be deducted from your prepaid rent, and the remaining three weeks of prepaid rent will be refunded.

If you cancel more than 28 days before arrival, you will lose your non-refundable deposit, but the four weeks of prepaid rent will be fully refunded.

If the Australian government closes its borders with your country of origin on your scheduled check-in date, your booking will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date to be determined by Link2.

To leave earlier than your booked departure date, you must notify Link2 via email at least four weeks in advance. An early departure fee of one week's total rent will be charged for departures between January 15th and November 15th. For early departures between November 16th and January 14th, the early departure fee will be two weeks' total rent. Upon changing your departure date, you must immediately pay any remaining rent and applicable early departure fees up to your new departure date.

Even if you change your arrival date to a later date after your booking is confirmed, you are still responsible for payment from the original arrival date. If you need to arrive earlier, Link2 will try to accommodate your request if a room is available, and your initial two-week deposit will cover the first two weeks' rent from the new, earlier arrival date.

The above cancellation policy is a synopsis of the property’s cancellation policy. There could be a few changes incorporated from time to time. Hence, we recommend you review the full Accommodation Contract for a comprehensive understanding of their cancellation policies.

•  As per occupancy agreement confirmation payment within 48 hours ( 6 weeks total plus booking fee, or payment in full for bookings of less than 6 weeks duration) then weekly in advance by direct debit
• Non-refundable deposit payment of 2 weeks rent plus booking fee is required to secure a booking. This payment will cover the first 2 weeks rental of your stay at Link2.
• In addition to the deposit a prepayment of the last 4 full rental weeks is required (or payment of the booking in full if the booking is less than 6 weeks in total). The prepaid rent will be credited to the final 28 days rental of your stay at Link2 or, in the case of an early departure it will be credited to the final 3 weeks of your stay and cover the early departure fee.

·       Following the deposit period rent is collected 1 week in advance each Friday, this is done by Direct Debit. A one off $5.60 administration fee is charged upon guest registration. Each week a $1.73 transaction fee will be added to your rent if you pay by Australian Bank account and if you pay by credit card a 2.2% fee will apply.
