The "Alvarium" (Latin for beehive, beehive) is, as the noble name suggests, a refuge for the upscale, eager and curious spirit. It represents an equilibrium between relaxation and urban pleasure. Its structure and excellent location offer the student a tailor-made solution between the extremes: If you want to concentrate on learning in peace, this is possible without any problems thanks to the architecturally sophisticated construction of the noise elimination. If you have written your 1.0 exams, the train, bus, train or taxi will bring you directly from your front door to any pub in the city in no time at all. No other building in the vicinity offers such a large roof terrace with a perfect view of the skyline. This is only topped by the in-house reception, which is almost always available and can provide you with information, budgetary resources and lots of love.

This accommodation is run by a friendly and efficient team! The move-in process is quick and very well organised. The residence team also arrange events throughout the year which allows students to socialise and get to know one another! Special commendation to Jacqueline and Johannes. They are always happy to help and provide the best solutions for all my queries in a timely manner!

Great place for students to live, accessible to many shops, restraunts, train and tram stations, quite expensive though for apartments starting from €540 for 14sq and further on increasing . It has all the amenities one could wish for, i.e. study room, gym, rooftop seating, game room, 24 hr laundry room.
