Recognised as the capital of Scotland since at least the 15th century, Edinburgh is one of the most interesting cities for students to enjoy. It is famous for its literary heritage, historic cobbled streets and striking architecture. Also, Edinburgh was the first city in the entire world to have its own fire service. Many people love to go to Edinburgh to enjoy their time and sometimes even write; J.K. Rowling wrote some of the Harry Potter books in The Elephant, an Edinburgh café, and took inspiration from the landscape for the characters and locations. This place was lovely to stay. Sarah, the manager was amazing with helping us move in and also, where to go and what to do. From the moment I signed up to the moment I moved in, Sarah was available to speak to whenever. Really lovely place and supportive staff as well. Definitely worth considering for staying during studies.

For my first time living away from home, this building has taken me on a journey. From move in day I knew that I was going to build as a person and this building would help. I would become more independent but with a little help along the way, that's what this building did for me. Yes, it's not the nicest location and yes, waking up seeing the college isn't the nicest but it's the building itself that makes this worth it. You are able to meet new, wonderful people from the start in the social area downstairs, create memories and have a wonderful time, then later on go up to your flat and have a good time with all your friends in the wonderful kitchen and living areas. The flats are very spacious and if you keep them clean, very nice to live in. The accommodation manager Sarah and her two little helpers (Kobe and Bruce) are the most amazing human/dogs you could have. So helpful and kind and make sure you have the best stay you can, if you stay on their good side (especially Kobe). I've made wonderful memories here, and I have had ups and downs but I wouldn't change the way this especially weird year has gone. Having spend most classes in my room on my computer on zoom, I can assure you, I know this building well. And on the most part, it's treated me well.

Had a lovely time staying at the accommodation, met a lot of wonderful people including Sarah who is just loved by everyone. The rooms are great along with the en suite bathrooms and the flats themselves are a great space to socialise with your flatmates. Any issues are taken care of quickly and I think it’s a good place to stay if you’re living away from home for the first time.

Accommodation is great value for money, despite what another resident has said, “The Staff.” Is a brilliant excellent woman called Sarah and runs the office single handedly (Without complaint) and does so many things for everyone, some of which people don’t realise. Packages as said in the resident handbook are our own responsibilities (Both outside and inside of office hours), Sarah is an excellent accommodation manager who does so much stuff to help every single resident have a pleasant stay. Can’t wait to return next year. Accommodation is 5 star but you can’t put a star rating on Sarah.
