The flats are all in very good condition, clean and have been recently renovated. The building’s location is perfect for students as it’s a 3 minute walk to the university of Huddersfield. All the staff here are lovely and always helpful. My time here for the past two years has been wonderful and I would come back here again.

This accommodation is so lovely to live in. All the staff are so nice and any problems are sorted out straight away. The events that are held are really good and you can see that the staff go the extra mile to put them on and make them enjoyable. The rooms are also lovely and well looked after which just makes the whole university experience so much better.

I will be returning to Snow Island next year! The staff are really nice and make my living experience so much better as they are keen to help with any questions or concerns I may have. Since moving here I have made strong friendships with my flat mates and will be continuing to live with one next year. We have really made our flat a home and the proximity to uni is perfect. The events that the team puts in really boost everyone’s day, especially the smoothie event which allowed us to obtain some much needed vitamins. Overall, my experience at snow island is extremely positive and I would recommend living here to any students. -Lucy Manning

Moving into a newly refurbished flat has been refreshing and the new rooms are stunning! The colours together in the room are soft against the eyes and a nice match against each other! The beds have been comfy to sleep on and the extra storage places in the room have been very useful! The bathroom is a good enough space as it’s not to small to be cramped but not too big either, which is fine by me! The shower however, especially the drain, keeps getting clogged so when I shower, the water doesn’t drain quickly! I do get maintenance done but the problem will keep occurring. The kitchen is a nice spacious area and an enjoyable place to cook food as well as enjoy food! The reception staff and cleaners are very friendly and nice to talk to! Snow Island is a very welcoming place to be!

I am a Chinese student. Snow Island was my first home abroad. I have lived here for a year. I love this place very much and it brings me many good memories. Here, I attended the Halloween party for the first time and took many group photos with my friends. It was the first time that I received gift card benefits with my friends. It was the first time that I got help from many foreign friends. The most important thing is that it is only 5 minutes' walk from my class place, which saves me a lot of time. I'm thankful for Snow Island.
