Nice accommodation in a lovely area however it really misses the the social factor of other student halls. For my first term here I felt pretty lonely here and was debating moving halls but managed to make some friends within my block through my uni course: The blocks aren't very social and I was located in a block where there was a large number of international students mixed in. Another problem was maintenance issues: I reported several problems which maintenance took a long time to fix and during lockdown my flat flooded which damaged my belongings. I was offered little help from staff at the front desk and had to spend hours on the phone trying to replace my belongings. It's also a huge hassle to receive parcels here with reception being closed over weekends. The rooms are nice but the drains have a strong smell every now and then. Overall, A very nice student hall but I would only recommend staying here as a last option if you have other options. The dock is a lovely area and it's nice being out of the city centre and only being a 10 min walk away.
