I stayed at Phoenix Place throughout my 2nd year of uni and several lockdowns. I loved it! - The rooms are cosy and you have everything you could need and loads of UBS and normal plugs throughout the room. (so no need to bring an extension). - There is a study room down stairs which was essential when I couldn’t concentrate in my room and couldn’t go to the library due to lockdowns. - There is 24/7 security so you’re safe at all times and the staff are very friendly so you can go to them with any problems or just for a chat. - The security staff and the manager (Laura) was amazing and very helpful. I flooded my room, kept forgetting to my pay my rent and other silly stuff ?but the staff were very patient with me and I never had problems with them. - I got my full deposit back too - It’s 15 min walk away from the town/ train station/gym/ shopping centres. It was 20 min walk away from Harold Cohen library and my campus so walking wasn’t a problem + saved money on transport. - They allowed a female only flat which I stayed at, so they will accommodate for religious or cultural needs. The only problem was that they didn’t provide mops but it’s understandable as you can’t give it out to everyone due to Covid. Furthermore, they dealt with the Covid situation very well and was very strict with the rules which kept everyone safe. I recommend Phoenix place to everyone coming to study in Liverpool. Nafisa :)

Although I have not stayed at Phoenix place this year due to the pandemic, I have received nothing but kindness from Laura (building manager). I’m disappointed that I didn’t get to stay here this year however I would 100% recommend Phoenix place simply for the kindness and welcoming of Laura herself.

Chose to live here for my first year at uni. The staff are really friendly and were attentive to all my needs. The rooms feel brand new and are brilliant value for the price. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere modern and close to the city centre :)
