Lovely scenic accommodation, all be it in a rough area, the staff are very helpful particularly the night staff. However due to the interconnected drains throughout the building and each flat a constant bad smell arises from the sink. Many of us students feel that this is disgusting and quite uncomfortable and would be nice to have this issue fixed before the first years arrive next year. Not only that but there are certain aspects of the building that are falling apart such as windows in the kitchen which we have only just been able to close properly at the end of first year and the kettle which leaks every time your pour it. Although if your looking for a great scenic place with easy access to almost anywhere in Liverpool and helpful loyal staff then the Railyard might be for you. P.s. A note to first years, try not to stress, the first few days will be hard and possibly anxiety ridden but everything will just fall into place after a while, have a great year and don't be scared about getting out there to meet people.
