Last year my partner stayed at St. Andrews and had a great time with her friends but this year she lived with me in one of their studios at Windsor court. Me and my partner stayed here during the tough times and struggled financially and we were very grateful for the help from the staff at St. Andrews and Windsor court. Special mention to Vicky who listened to our troubles and came up with a way to sort them out which relieved a lot of stress from us. The staff here are amazing and very helpful and will listen to you and any questions or queries you have. Any maintenance problems we had we advised the staff and they were fixed right away. Great place to stay and great staff. 110% recommend?

Spent a few years of my uni accommodation here and it was great. Have a flat on the top floor, had a great balcony. There are somethings I miss like a nice soft headboard on the bed, and a proper oven however that one is understandable due to space. However this accommodation is fantastic thats why I have stayed here multiple years. The new staff are extremely friendly and always helpful.

After four years at university, for my fifth year (postgraduate) I decided I would opt for living alone rather than shared accommodation. I searched endlessly on the web for suitable, affordable studios and found myself on the We are Homes for Students website, looking at studios in Windsor Court. I picked my studio based on the fantastic and pleasing photos, I thought that it would really suit me. The price was far better than elsewhere in the city, by a large margin! I moved my stuff in on the 18th September with my Father, once we arrived at the check in over the road at the St Andrews Garden office, I was met by who I believe was the regional manager who went through all paperwork etc with me. She was very professional and a great help. I went over to WC to move stuff in and was just able to walk in as the door was unlocked, which didn't automatically seem an issue. I was greeted by a grubby, sticky flat which obviously had not been cleaned from the previous occupier - this has before happened for me, however after the tough year 2020 has been I decided to let it go over my head and not worry too much. I moved in, filled in the inventory list and had missing stools, kettle, toaster etc (I ended up buying my own, morally I believe I should get some money back for this inconvenience). This did not worry me as I was off back to Wales for a week - fingers and toes crossed that things would be sorted by the time I return. I handed the list of issues into the office and was assured that these would be sorted by the time I return - for this I was very reassured that everything would be good. Locking the room was difficult, as there was a hole in the door I assume where the old lock assembly was (this is still present however now hidden with poor brown tape!)... The key was obviously for the old lock not the new one, which I did not mind as I understood that the locks had been changed as the old occupier had taken keys with them. Anyhooooo.... onto the office again to mention that the key did not work, to be told by the security man that I wasn't trying hard enough and the locks were old and worn - this tested my patience as I know enough about this kind of thing. I think Vicky the site manager then found me the correct key - so I could then lock up and go home. Myself being the OCD-ridden character I am decided after a few minor hiccups on moving in day, to call the office most days the following week while on work breaks to see if the issues were being sorted as they were promised to be. On calling it was evident that the issues had not been logged, and therefore were not being sorted. I emailed the issues over again and hoped for the best. I got back to Liverpool the following weekend where none of the issues regarding missing items, and cleanliness had been sorted - very disappointed indeed. Me and my friend who helped me move in then decided to deep clean the studio ourselves, seemed a lot better way of spending our time than moaning.
