Cancellation Policy for Academic Year Contracts
Long-Term Booking Policies (37 Weeks and Longer) With Check-Ins in (August, September, and October 2024)
How to Secure Your Booking:
Pay a £250 Deposit within 24 hours
Have the contract signed with your guarantor.
Have the first instalment paid by the 30th of July 2024.
Terms and Benefits
7-day cooling off period before the 30th of July 2024 until one day after.
In the case of visa refusal, free refusal is allowed until two weeks before your arrival(only the holding deposit will be kept).
In case of cancellation due to personal reasons, you can cancel up until the 31st of May (only the holding deposit will be kept).
Discounts are applied for instant payments and single payments: 2% for instant payments and 1.5% for single payments.
Cancellation for Visa Refusals/ No Student Status
If you cancel within cooling-off, You’ll receive a full refund, including your holding deposit.
If you cancel more than two weeks before check-in, you’ll receive a full refund minus the holding deposit (£250)
If you cancel (0-2) before check-in, you’ll receive a full refund, minus the holding deposit and two weeks' worth of rent. (£250+ two weeks rent)
If you cancel after check-in and do not collect keys, the cancellation fee will be £ 250 + two weeks of rent + accumulated rent (in weeks) from the check-in date until the notification date.
*If the visa is refused after check-in and key collection, the property does not offer cancellation; but allows the option for replacement tenant.
Cancellation for Other Reasons
If you cancel within the cooling-off period, you will receive a full refund, including the holding deposit.
If you cancel before June 1st, 2024, you will get a full refund, with the exception of the holding deposit (£250).
*No cancellation can be made for personal reasons after the 1st of July 2024. The property could provide option for replacement tenant.
Cancellation Policy for All-Year Check-in Contract
This applies to 2-46-week bookings with check-ins in November, December, January, February, March, April, May, June, and July.
