Mansion Place has been nothing but accommodating, and helpful, even prior to moving in. Over the summer, the building was being extended, and building work was taking place. Due to COVID, the building work wasn't completed by the planned date. In order to ensure that students were still able to meet their flatmates etc., and could live close to the university, while the rest of the building work was taking place, they put us up in hotels close to the uni (within a 5 minute walk!) for free. The rent that we were due to pay for the time in which we were in the hotel was also waived, which was fantastic. Upon moving in, Mansion Student arranged for taxis to help us move our belongings across from the hotel, to Mansion Place, and this was all pre-paid, by Mansion Student, too. It wasn't ideal, living in a hotel room for a few months, but the transition to Mansion Place was exceptional. The rooms at Mansion Place are bright, clean and modern, and the price for the room includes everything that you need, aside from your TV License. There is plenty of storage, including under-bed storage, as well a sink, and combi-microwave/grill, and TV in all rooms. My room (Premium Studio) also has a hob, and a fridge/freezer, too, which is useful for quick lunches etc., during the day. I've also got access to a shared kitchen (shared with up to 7 other people) which has more storage for kitchen items, a couple of fridge-freezers, and a couple of ovens, so you'll always be able to cook something, from a microwave meal to a Christmas dinner! The staff at Mansion Place are honestly the nicest people I've ever met. Debbie is the manager of the building, and she is always thinking about the residents in the building. If I've ever had any issues, which have been very few and far between, such as the extractor fan in the shared kitchen not working, for example, or with any noise complaints, I've always felt comfortable speaking to Debbie about it, and this has then been sorted within a matter of days (often sorted within 48 hours). Sarah, the hospitality manger, is also always approachable, and helpful, too. I've struggled with my mental health, over the past year, and both Debbie and Sarah have always been there for me to speak to, if I've needed it. The other facilities at Mansion Place, including the Cinema room, Laundry Room, and Communal Areas, are always clean and tidy. Mansion Place is a fantastic place to live, and their refer-a-friend and re-booking incentives (Amazon/Love2Shop vouchers for referring a friend to stay at Mansion Place, or for re-booking a room for the next academic year) are great, too. I've already booked Mansion Place for my second year of uni, and I'm considering booking it for my third and final year, too. I've looked at other places to live, locally, prior to booking Mansion Place for my first year, and more recently, and I've not found anything that is offering as much as Mansion Place is, both physically, as well as through their staff, anywhere else! If you're thinking about booking Mansion Place, go for it! You won't regret it!!

Rebooked for 2020-2021 after staying for a year. Despite going through all sorts of inconveniences earlier with Purple Frog, Mansion took over the building and it became so much better as maintenances were attended to and we have a reliable building manager to go to with issues regarding the building. Would recommend as the location is great and rooms are nicer than your typical student accommodations.

Stayed at mansion 2019 - rebooked for 2020, moved in when under purple frog management absolutely appalling. Mansion took over building November 2019 and placed a new manager in which she has made changes for the better. Mansion have now renovated the building and all is good, really nice place to live.
