The Mews is an Oxford student accommodation providing students with accommodation close to their respective universities and institutions. The Mews has a wide selection of room types for students to choose from, including en-suite rooms and private self-contained studios, with accessible rooms being available as well. All rooms are fully furnished and come fitted with central heating, a ¾ double bed with under-bed storage, a wardrobe, drawers, bookshelves, a study area with a desk and a chair, and a private en-suite bathroom. Cancellation policy+-
Host Cancellation Policy
Before entering the tenancy agreement:
If you cancel your tenancy within seven days of submitting your application and your tenancy agreement is not confirmed, you will be refunded your advanced rent in full.
After tenancy agreement confirmation but before the tenancy start date:
Within 72 hours of receiving your tenancy confirmation email, if you cancel in writing prior to your tenancy period starting, you will be refunded your advanced payment in full.
After the 72 hours post tenancy confirmation email, even if the tenancy period has not started, cancellation will not be accepted and you will be liable for the room, unless you find a replacement tenant to take over your tenancy agreement.
On or after the tenancy start date:
You will be liable for rent until a replacement tenant is found.
Important details:
You are responsible for taking all necessary steps to enter into your tenancy agreement within seven days of submitting your application. If you fail to do so, you may lose your advance rent payment.
We shall attempt to find a replacement tenant; however, the same is not guaranteed. You will be liable for rent and other charges until the date when the replacement tenant is found.
The landlord can cancel your tenancy agreement if you fail to pay rent before moving in. In that case, you will not be refunded your advance rent paid.
The landlord will send you multiple notices if they cancel your tenancy before you occupy the room. In that case, you will receive a full refund.
The landlord can cancel bookings due to false or misleading information.
