Really feeling so sad when thinking of leaving here. I’m an international student with no contacts in Plymouth, booked Alexandra works with lot of worries, as the culture and place is totally different from India.! Initially was in a greater dilemma of whether I like the place or not as I can never tolerate untidy place! It was normal room with clean space and lot of storage at reasonable price with all amenities nearby. I reached here at 3am and got a warm welcome at that time, was a good first impression. All the staffs was so good, especially Galini. Every maintenance troubles will be sort out soon, So never happened any terrible situation. I even lost my phone through the gap of the lift and asap they sorted and get my phone back. Also got really good roommates, after all it was a place with lot of memories for me. I even asked the reception to extend my tenancy but can’t as I’m no longer a student??

An honest review: The place is cheap, internet is good, single bed which is fine for some, has parking which is great for picking up and unloading, decent laundromat in the building, kind staff, postal system needs improvement as you never know when your parcels have arrived until about a week after delivery, no real community spaces so if you don't get on with the people in your flat you're not going to have a great time, the events held every few months are good, for example free waffles from kawaffle or free cupcakes on mental health awareness day or free pancake batter on pancake day. Overall it's a decent place to live and the only real issues I've faced is the noise of the train as I have my window open frequently, the location as it is about 15-20 minutes from the uni when walking, and finally the single bed at least for me has been a big challenge.

I recently stayed at Capitol Students Alexandra Works student accommodation for the duration of my academic program, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of accommodation and services provided. The facilities were top-notch and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The accommodation was located in a convenient area, close to my university campus and public transportation, which made my daily commute much easier. The building itself was well-maintained and had excellent security measures in place, which made me feel safe and secure at all times. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities such as a study desk, wardrobe, and comfortable bed. The kitchen and common areas were also well-equipped and well-maintained, making it easy for me to socialize with other students and cook my own meals. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with any queries or concerns that I had, and they organized regular social events that allowed me to meet other students from different academic backgrounds. Overall, I had a fantastic experience staying at this student accommodation and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay during their studies. The facilities, staff, and location were all excellent, making it a truly memorable experience.

I had an amazing stay while at Alexandra Works. It’s a budget-friendly accommodation. The maintenance was top-notch. The peace, quiet and serenity in that place was what I loved the most. The property manager GALINI, is one person I absolutely love! She exhibits a strong sense of managerial skills which reflects in how she handles people and processes. Always helpful in resolving issues promptly. I would recommend this accommodation for any single person on a budget. Your stay would definitely be worth the while ?.
