Great accommodation with friendly staff and the best location in Newcastle as it is between the business school and the main campus so it's a very short walk to either. Great facilities with gym and common room. Washing machines in every studio is a big plus as it is very rare for student accommodations.

Honestly a really nice place to live. St James' House offers studio apartments which allow you to have your own personal space while still being able to live among other students. The rooms themselves are modern and spacious, with each room having its own kitchen and washing machine/dryer. Really no hassle living here because the staff are always on top of getting any issues sorted out ASAP, allowing your stay here to be stress free. Also really close to universities (only a 5 minute walk to Newcastle University) and the general city center location means everything you need is within walking distance, therefore no need for a transportation budget. There are also regular social events which occur in partnership with other Derwent Students' accommodations, allowing you to expand your social sphere and make friends quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a modern, comfortable, self-contained studio in the heart of Newcastle's city center.

Very nice environment and extremely friendly staff specially Roisin. Its really a complete package of good living environment and good people and all comes quite reasonable price.
