The English city of Birmingham has a vast history that dates all the way back to the Stone Age. The Old English word "Beormingahm," which refers to a tribe that inhabited the area in the early Anglo-Saxon period and means "the abode of the Beormingas," is where the city's name comes from. This Birmingham student accommodation is located in the heart of the city.

Been staying here for 4 years now, in the same room as well. Ever since management has changed from Prestige Student Living to Prime Student Living there have only been improvements here all round. From security being here at night, changed fire doors as well as the front door and window, new well-furnished carpets and wonderful events that helps us not only connect with the team but with other residents as well. Would definitely recommend this accommodation as it’s only going to get better and better!

Great place to live in, the property's location is so convenient (heart of the city), rooms are fully equipped and staff is incredibly supportive and caring (special mention to Ola, Patryk and Josh). The mentioned staff is amazing because they always help you in whatever you need as soon as they can, promote events for students to get to know each other and care about our safety (we even have security in the reception now during the night). Definitely recommend. After prime started to manage the building, a lot of positive changes have happened!

The staff at Kensington House are amazing! They listen and respond to all issues and handle everything very quickly. They are very kind and supportive everything and you can always rely on them. The accommodation also has loads of facilities such as study rooms on each floor, a free gym, parking, cinema room, games room and more. The location of the accommodation is great too! Close by to Birmingham New Street station and China town, it makes travelling and getting your essentials very easy. I recommend choosing Kensington House to live in!

Stayed here for a month during the summer and a month during the winter and I thought it was nice and cozy. It definitely was a bit too hot during the summer and during the winter the heater breaks a lot. There isn't any AC and the windows don't open all the way so its difficult to get any fresh air inside. This keeps all the smell from food inside - which gets on the carpet outside the halls. Besides that I thought that the overall layout and pricing was decent! The management changed recently and she is great! (previous management was very bad) She is trying to make lots of changes to the place and I'm looking forward to seeing how much better it will be when I visit again. The overall location is really good and every door needs a key which is good. Hopefully they add more washing/drying machines in the future and as well as being able to open the windows a bit more for some fresh clean air!

Review update after staying in kensington house for a while: Exceptional customer service thanks to Dominique Saunders Too hot: Don’t pick the sunny side windows if planning to live there during the hot season, at the time of stay building had no air conditioning and heat was a big concern, very unhealthy. Noise pollution: Motorway side is very noisy even during the nights. Closing window however provides a reasonable sound insulation. =================================== That’s how a first floor studio looks like. This house has on-site parking and on-site amenities such as cinema room, tiny gym, playroom and study room. Nice place.
