London Nest Cancellation Terms
1. Booking & Cooling-Off Periods
To secure a room, a signed agreement and payment are required. London Nest provides a 5-day cooling-off period for bookings made on or before May 31, 2025. For bookings made after this date, the window is 48 hours.
2. Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellations must be sent via email. If requested within the cooling-off period—and at least five days before the stay begins—a full refund is issued (minus any bank fees). Beyond this window, tenants are legally responsible for the full rent unless a replacement is found.
3. Tenant Replacement Policy
If the cooling-off period has passed, the tenant must find a suitable replacement to be released from the contract. A £250 administrative fee applies. London Nest has sole discretion to accept the replacement, re-list the room, or fill it from a waiting list. Official release from the agreement occurs seven days after a new tenant is finalised.
4. Visa Refusal
If a UK study visa is denied, a full refund is available. Tenants must provide the official rejection letter within seven days of receipt or by August 16, 2025 (whichever is sooner). Refunds are not granted if the denial was due to applicant error or failure to obtain a CAS number.
5. Standard Terms
Payments: Must be received by the invoice due date.
Billing: Rates are based on full-week (7-night) increments.
Availability: If the team cannot provide the original room due to unforeseen issues, an alternative will be arranged.
Agreement: Accepting the invoice confirms the tenant is bound by these terms.
